As most of you know, I’m completely and absolutely in love with the color teal. If I had it my way I’d have a teal car, a teal room, all teal clothes, and I think you get the picture.
So when it came to my business branding I obviously chose the color teal.
It all started a couple of years ago when I decided that I wanted to go into Photography. I’ve always been the artsy type, so coming up with a logo wasn’t the problem, it was deciding what went best with the images.
I started out by typing my name just on the image, and that was okay.. but really boring, and too simple. I then switched to trying to color code my logo to match a color in EACH picture. Therefore the logo had to be changed every single time, and that was just too much work.
It then evolved to a solid white rectangle that I mounted my pictures on so to speak, and had my business name at the bottom of each rectangle.
And lastly, thanks to my internship I simplified it all to an opaque white rectangle that goes across the bottom of the image with my business name typed in solid white across it. This will remain (for now) as the logo that goes on all my photos for copyright purposes.
So about a week ago I was messing around on Pinterest and found Photography branding ideas and just meshed a whole bunch of them together with a few of my favorite fonts and ta-da! I developed my new branding. I haven’t quite figured out what I’m going to use it for.. but I’m sure it’ll have a great purpose! (Probably will see it on the future officially Cameron Burns Photography Page!) Enjoy!
