I’ve known Tyler + Julia since, well forever. We met back in high school + I’d like to say that Tyler + Julia met and fell madly in love because of me, but sadly that would be a lie.

I will never forget at the beginning of their relationship, sitting in my art classes and either Tyler would pop in to see Julia or vice versa. You could just tell by the way they interacted with each other that it was true love!

Fast forward a few years and we’re all at Longwood University together. Julia’s studying Biology + Tyler’s studying Political Science and has plans to attend law school after completing his degree.

I was BEYOND excited and completely honored to photograph this amazing couple. Not only did I have the privilege of capturing their engagement session but I also get to be part of their wedding day- YAY!

Tyler + Julia, I wish you nothing but the best + I can’t wait for September 2016!!!!

We started their gorgeous fall session at  Longwood University in front of their house with their adorable pup!!!

We then adventured up to the Blue Ridge Mountains + that’s where all the magic took place!

I mean seriously? Look at all the emotion coming from Tyler! No wonder Julia said yes!

So the wind may have been a little crazy, but some people pay big bucks for windswept hair.
