It was Valentine’s Day 2008. Michelle had recently moved back to Roanoke after realizing that she didn’t really know what she wanted to be when she grew up. Rather than sit at home on Valentine’s Day, she picked up a dinner shift at her then job.
It was starting to get late. The dinner crowd was winding down. That’s when she realized the ‘new’ guy was finishing up his training dinner. She couldn’t help but notice that he was paying more attention to her than his food.
Over several months, they became inseparable. Michelle was beginning to break out of her shell. Kyle was able to get her to go on her first hike, try coffee, consume spicy food, and listen to different music.
From music festivals and road trips, baseball games and the beach, family get-togethers and growing up, Kyle became her person. Her best friend.
I can honestly say when we first met Kyle + Michelle we knew INSTANTLY that we clicked. It’s truly inspiring to work with couples that are so down to earth + value photography as much as we do. We love their quirky personalities + we were so honored to capture their gorgeous September wedding at Diamond V Farm!
We absolutely love photographing at Diamond V Farm! This was our second time at the venue + we can’t wait to go back for future weddings!!
