They met at a Chick-Fil-A (what a great place to meet!). Wil had moved to Richmond to go to school at VCU and started working at the same store Austin was at, shortly after moving down from Northern Virginia. Their love continued to grow until the day when Wil popped the question at Church Hill (check out their engagement session here) and the rest is history.

Wil + Austin’s wedding represented a ton of FIRSTS for everyone involved- including us! It was our FIRST Hurricane Wedding! And to be honest, it felt like any other wedding day! They had gorgeous weather (despite the rain) and fantastic company! We absolutely adore this couple + wish them nothing but the very best!!

Austin absolutely nailed her bridal portraits + you can’t even tell it was pouring around us!

Austin’s laugh is hands down contagious and bravo to Wil for always making his bride laugh!

What a perfect alternative to a First Look! You’re still able to hold hands, ease some nerves and share a private moment; all while still having the traditional First Look when the bride walks down the aisle!

We LOVED seeing Austin’s reaction to seeing Wil waiting for her at the end of the aisle!

And the groom’s steady, but emotional reaction to seeing his gorgeous bride walk down the aisle!

Central Baptist Church is a STUNNING church inside + out! We are so honored that their wedding marks number two for us at this venue!

Sand ceremonies are always a special touch to a couples wedding day. We definitely loved hearing the officiant call Wil out on always having the last word as he dumped his remaining sand into the vase!

And the kiss that sealed the deal!

The reception then shifted to Pocahontas State Park and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint!

I don’t know about you, but I’d say Wil was over the mood excited to finally have Austin as his wife!

The Shoe Game is by far one of my favorite things to capture at a reception! It’s so much fun to see their answers + even better, their reactions!

Their cake cutting goes in our books as one of the funniest all out battles!
