Four years ago, David and Danielle started school at Richmond Law in the summer before the regular fall semester. They didn’t know each other, but they had both signed up to live in the law school dorm since they were coming from out of town and didn’t know the Richmond area. Danielle arrived in Virginia with her dad very late the night before classes started, and met David at the dorm. David spent hours helping them unload her car and get semi-unpacked (a true Southern gentleman – as Danielle says!).

      David and Danielle started doing everything together and got to know Richmond, the city they now call home. They became best friends in no time and often stayed up talking until 3 a.m., him telling stories from his time spent in the Marine Corps and Danielle reminiscing about life in Texas. Danielle fell hard for her tall, gorgeous, blue-eyed Marine. He was everything she wanted and everything she never knew she was looking for – a true leader, a little rough around the edges, an intellectual, a kindred spirit. The two of them are both fiercely independent and march to the beat of their own drums. They soon realized they couldn’t imagine their lives without each other!

      David proposed in April 2015, and they are now planning a fall wedding!
