Avon, NC Engagement Session | Alex + Colleen {Nags Head, OBX}

Colleen had no idea a proposal was in store for her that sunny July Monday.

Alex + I had been in contact for about a week hashing out all the details until that fateful Monday came!

The game plan was as follows: Alex told Colleen that he had reservations for a fancy dinner that night at 7pm. So after a long day on the beach they went back to their rental house in Avon and got all dressed up. Alex pretended to get a phone call from the restaurant saying I his reservation had to be moved back to 8pm. Alex planted the seed in Colleen’s mind that they were going for a quick walk on the beach to waste time before dinner.

Little did Colleen know, there I was hiding behind a huge sand dune waiting upon their arrival. Alex led Colleen to just above the water’s edge. He then proceeded to tell her how much he loved her + how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

Alex got down on one knee and popped the ever so important question of: Will you marry me? Colleen of course said yes + they shared a few quick moments until Alex pointed me out to Colleen.

After exchanging hellos I had the privilege of capturing their ever glowing happiness in a fantastic sunset engagement session on the gorgeous beaches of the Outer Banks. Avon never looked better!
