The day was perfect. The temperature was warm, but not humid. The sky was as blue as can be with very few clouds in sight. Needless to say it was the PERFECT day to get married.
A week before the wedding took place I drove out to Central Baptist Church for a walk through with Jessica + her amazingly talented and organized Grandmother, Granny. I just KNEW it was going to be a fabulous wedding when the first words out of her Grandmother’s mouth were: “Hi I’m Linda, but call me Granny.” In that instant I felt totally welcome into their family + I knew this laid the groundwork for an amazing wedding day.
Upon my arrival for Bridal Prep on the big day I was completely shocked to find everyone at ease. No one was running around like a chicken with their head chopped off ( at least from what I saw ha!). Everyone was having a great time, we were ahead of schedule with no rush in sight. It was perfect- by far one of the most laid back, un-stressful wedding days I’ve been a part of!
Jessica + Stephen, thank you for the honor of being welcomed into your home and families. Your day was beyond perfect and I wish you nothing but the best as you carve a path that’s entirely your own.
Hubba Hubba! Look at that rock!
Jessica was SOO stunning! Believe it or not, Jessica got this stunner at David’s Bridal + it was the FIRST dress she tried on!
Jessica got ready at her Granny’s house – yes, the sweet lady I mentioned earlier and her front yard was to die for!
Once again, Granny the wedding planner extraordinaire crafted this STUNNING bridal bouquet made up of daisy’s, white roses + baby’s breath!
After the bridal party was all ready we headed over to the gorgeous Central Baptist Church that had these STUNNING white columns in the front! They made for a gorgeous backdrop, not to mention look at that wedding party!
I mean just look at this church! It had me speechless!
The bridesmaids looked stunning in their short coral/pink dresses!
The Bride + her gorgeous Maid of Honor!
Just look at these two cuties! Such a special moment between the bride + her sweet flower girl!
Nothing makes my heart flutter like Bridal Portraits!
The sky, the church, the bride were to die for!
Nothing quite like a mother + daughter bond!
Nothing sweeter than when the father gets to walk his daughter down the aisle!
I swear Central Baptist Church had the best stained glass + lighting ever!
The kiss that sealed the deal!
What a gorgeous receiving line!
The amazingly talented Granny!
The cutest little ring bearer I ever did see!
The gorgeous wedding party!
After some convincing, they just couldn’t contain their excitement!
The handsome groomsmen!
The newlyweds!
I’m telling you this church might just be my new favorite spot!
After the ceremony + pictures we all headed over to Bon Air Community Center for a gorgeous reception! Look at this cake- another Granny special! I just loved all the DIY aspects of this wedding!
Their first dance was perfect!
Look at all these details! Their guest book was INCREDIBLE! Not to mention their engagement session photos looked stunning there as well! Missed their engagement? Click HERE!
The Mother + Son dance was so special!
I just loved seeing the bond between Jessica + her father!
These two cuties stole the dance floor!

Look at their seating chart! It was ADORABLE!
This one takes the cake… slow clap please!
Garter Toss time!
When Jessica mentioned their send off was with bubbles, I jumped a little! I mean come on! How sweet is this?
Thank you again Jessica + Stephen I had a blast being a part of your special day + engagement session and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you!
