Tip #1: Change your Social Security Card. Visit your local Social Security Office with your Certified Marriage License, your ID, your current Social Security Card, and the form that can be found on their website about changing your name.

Tip #2: Change Your License at the DMV. Bring ALL documents with you, this includes your marriage license + current driver’s license. They’ll give you the correct form to fill out.

Tip #3: Change your Bank Account Information, Payroll Information, Post Office, Credit Card Companies, Landlord/Mortgage Company, School, Insurance Companies (home, auto, life), Doctors Office, Voter Registration (can be done at the DMV), Passport, Your Attorney, etc.
