It’s your big day so of course you want it to be gorgeous from start to finish, but as those dollar signs keep adding up, you might have some second thoughts. The good news, you can still have a dream wedding + keep your costs down!
Both can take up large chunks of your budget, but you can still have a fabulous wedding venue for less.
1) Limit your guest list to people who are genuinely important to you two.
2) Look into venues that allow you to bring your own wine + champagne. Then buy in bulk + save those dollar signs!
3) Choose one venue for both the ceremony + reception. The more locations, the more money you’ll spend.
4) Book a venue off season, like winter to save some serious dough!
5) Get married at a family home- definitely more personal + cheaper.
6) You can limit the alcohol per table + have a cash bar for later in the night.

Besides adding beauty to your guests lives, your stationary doesn’t contribute much to your event.
7) Design/Print your own invitations (this is what we did!). Deliver as many as you can by hand.
8) Email invitations, especially to those who aren’t likely to keep them to remember the occasion.
9) Skip table place cards + DIY.
10) Printed menus aren’t really a thing now. Skip this step + save that money!
