North + Taylor could not have picked a better wedding day! They were blessed not only with great weather, amazing family members and friends, but also a love that runs deeply between them! Just the way Taylor lights up when she sees North, or the infectious laugh that they both share when they steal a glance at each other… they are both an inspiration of true love!

If you know the Schmidt girls, you know their laughs are completely contagious. We had the absolute honor of getting to know not just Taylor, but her sister Kendall who will be married this Winter, their wonderful sister Abbie who jumped right in to help with all of the planning (for TWO weddings!), and of course their amazing mother that definitely holds the entire family together. Without these amazing ladies, The Barn at Gully Tavern would not have had all of the personality and love built into it like it did.

We tend to get a wide variety of venue inquiries, but for the most part we’ve been photographing barns left and right! Taylor is definitely a lady of mystery and the only real detail we knew ahead of time was that they’d be married in front of a barn with the reception behind.

As soon as we pulled into their driveway our hearts skipped a beat! There was an official sign for The Barn at Gully Tavern, but it gets even better! The further we went down the driveway, the more of the actual barn we could see!

Taylor’s family had dedicated their time, energy, and of course money into building a state of the art barn (good news ladies, it’ll be turned into a wedding venue for the public as well!)

North + Taylor, we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to serve you two on such a gorgeous wedding day and we can’t wait to see everyone again soon for Kendall’s wedding, but for now, enjoy these sneak peeks!
