Danger Dan and Safety Sara are MARRIED!
It all started on Cinco de Mayo in 2016 at the Hoffheimer Building in Richmond! They were there for a Historic Richmond Event – such cute history lovers! It was one of Daniel’s first outings out in months after returning from Hawaii during a difficult time. After chatting and connecting over multiple similarities, they exchanged phone numbers and Daniel walked Sara to her car (what a gentleman!)
Sara and her friend chatted on the way home about Daniel being from Goochland. Sara had just moved to Richmond from Northern Virginia in 2014, and didn’t know much about Goochland. But her friend said “that’s where good ‘ol country boys that have excellent manners and love their mamas are from.” If that doesn’t sound like a country song, then I don’t know what does. She would soon find out that Daniel truly is the greatest gentleman and hardest working person she has ever met.
From the very beginning, Sara realized that Daniel and her were very different people but complimented one another in the most special way. On their 2nd date he told her he never saw himself getting married or having children. Sara, on the other hand, has been planning her own wedding since her Barbie and Ken were married by her way back in 1989.
Daniel is into all things extreme. Surfing, rock climbing, bungee jumping, motorcycle racing, and anything else that might get your heart pounding. Contradicting all of those things, Sara loves helmets, staying very close to the ground, and driving at exactly the speed limit at all times (if these points don’t also describe me, I don’t know what else will). Daniel’s brother coined them nicknames very early on that have stuck around. Introducing: “Safety Sara” and “Danger Dan.”
I can honestly say, I’ve never met a more deserving couple than Dan + Sara and we’re honored to have been part of such a magical day in their lives. Now, sit back + relax while you enjoy these sneak peeks!!
I mean, just look at her dress!
SO SWEET! When Daniel saw his bride for the first time!
Can I just have bubbles at every ceremony exit?!?!

GAH! LOVE this!
I’ve never seen a bride get so excited about twirling! Sara, may you never lose that passion!
Can we just take a minute to appreciate this GTO? This is the SAME car that Daniel’s parent’s drove off in on their wedding night!!! Daniel + his Father have been working hard to restore it for their big day!
Might just be my new favorite portrait!
Girl, you’re absolutely stunning!
Such a sweet first dance to Elvis Presley!
Of course we had to sneak out at dusk for some last minute portraits!
