NEVER have we photographed an engagement session like Evan + Tasha’s! When we first started to plan their session, we tossed around the usual local hot-spots of Midlothian Mines, The Canal Walk, and Brown’s Island but then I went out on a limb and suggested somewhere totally unique + we both started checking out local Air B&Bs!! Evan + Tasha stumbled upon Lake Glen Haven and I’m SO glad they went the extra mile and booked it!!

Back to the whole “I’ve never thing..” – I’ve never photographed one location that included a lake, a private island, a tugboat, and a Retro Air-stream – I mean HOW COOL?! PLUS, the owners are the sweetest people + truly care about their clients enjoyment of the property!! I mean who else provides kayaks, fishing gear, and fire starters?!

Evan + Tasha, thank you for fully embracing my weirdness and excited-ness (new word!) for a session completely different than the norm!
